Today we have heard that the stamp duty holiday has been extended from the 31st March 2021 until the 30th June 2021.
A further incentive has been granted from the 1st July 2021 until the 30th September 2021 for no stamp duty to be paid up to a purchase price of £250,000.
Alongside the stamp duty extension the government announced 95% mortgages being guarantee by a number of lenders to assist first time buyers with a 5% deposit.
The budget has provided the property market with a further boost.
